He began his musical studies at a
very young age. Student
at the Conservatory "G. Verdi "in Milan, at nineteen
he graduated in piano in the Maestro Alberto Colombo class.
He attended masterclasses and seminars held by M.
Aldo Ciccolini, M. Vincenzo Balzani, Prof.ssa Shuku Iwasaki,
M. Vladimir Ashkenazy and M. Sergio
Perticaroli.
He
graduated in "Fortepiano and romantic piano" at the
prestigious International Piano Academy "Incontri col
Maestro" in Imola, under the guidance of M ° Stefano
Fiuzzi.
He
conducted research on composers for "Italian organ"
in 18th and 19th centuries, and especially on Padre Davide da
Bergamo. His performances on historical instruments have
gained the appreciation of the illustrious organist Maestro
Giancarlo Parodi for solid playing technique and refined taste
in the choice of stops.
Since
2001 he has performed in duo with Soprano Barbara Frittoli,
with the first parts of the most important orchestras in the
world: Fabrizio Meloni (clarinet) - Teatro alla Scala, Massimo
La Rosa (trombone) - Cleveland Orchestra, Steve Rosse (tuba) -
Sydney Symphony Orchestra, Joseph Alessi (trombone) - New York
Philharmonic Orchestra, Alessandro Fossi (tuba) - Teatro
Comunale di Bologna and with the American virtuoso violinist Joseph Gold.
He
worked as collaborative pianist in the Masterclasses held by
Natale de Carolis, Giovanna Canetti, Luciana Serra and
Bernadette Manca di Nissa (singing), Julius Kalmar (orchestral
conducting ), Eros Sabbatani and
James Gourlay (tuba).
He
has recorded several CDs including one with the trumpet player Gabriele
Cassone on 19th century music performed on original
instruments, one dedicated to Bottesini, in duo with Ermanno
Ferrari, first doublebass of the "Italian Swiss Radio
Orchestra" and one on 3 historic fortepianos in the
"Accademia Bartolomeo Cristofori" (Florence),
containing first recordings of works by C. Ph. E. Bach and Joh.
Chr. Bach.
Pianist
of great sensitivity and temperament, he has performed in many
recitals throughout Europe and United
States.
In October 2013 he held its third tour in USA during which he
performed on the Ruffatti’s 1971 organ - St. Mary's
Cathedral in San Francisco.
In the year 2000 he received a
scholarship from “Oberlin College Conservatory of Music”
(Ohio USA), and for several seasons he was Maestro Mario Del
Ponti’s assistant during the specialization courses held by
the “Oberlin at Casalmaggiore”.

di Porcia”
(FMCIM member).
He
is also dedicated to the research, restoration and collection
of historical keyboard instruments.
